Zina B. Cappiello

Dr. Cappiello graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Lehigh University. She received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York, NY. She completed a surgical residency program at Passaic Beth Israel Hospital, Passaic, New Jersey. Dr. Cappiello is a Diplomate, American Board of Podiatric Surgery, Board Certified in Foot Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She is currently on staff at St. Marys Hospital, Passaic, New Jersey.
With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Cappiello has extensive knowledge of procedures and methods used in examination and diagnosing diseases of the foot and ankle. She customizes patient treatments utilizing both conservative and surgical approaches. Treatments are based on individual needs. Dr. Cappiello is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the New Jersey Podiatric Medical Society. She has been published in Foot and Ankle International and The Journal of Comparative Neurology.
She enjoys all aspects of Podiatric Medicine, with a special interest in Sports Medicine and forefoot surgery.
In her spare time, Dr. Cappiello is an avid runner and a cycling, hiking, skiing, and traveling enthusiast. She is proud to have recently completed her 26th full marathon. As an athlete, she is sensitive to the stresses and injuries that the feet endure and the importance of having healthy feet in order to enjoy an active lifestyle.
