Q: What got you into this specific medical field?
A: I am from a family of doctors. Both my parents are physicians. They have been great examples for me. I learned from them about professional care to those who are sick. Cardiology has been my passion of care.

Q: What landed you in your city, and what is it that you like about the neighborhood?
A: I was recruited by HMA to build up and run a cardiac imaging center. However, the business plan did not go through. I have opened my own practice subsequently because my family and I enjoy living in this hospitality community.

Q: Where did you receive your undergraduate and professional degrees, and did you participate in any residencies?
A: I received my medical degree in Harbin University. I had my residency in Norman Bethune University of Medical Sciences and Fellowship in Kitasato University Hospital in Japan. I have another residency training in State University of New York at Stony Brook University Hospital and additional cardiology fellowship in Heart Center of Indiana, Indianapolis.

A: 1997

A: I was member of American College of Physician, Cardiovascular CTMRI Association.
