Tonya Walston

Dr. Tonya Walston is board-certified to practice Psychiatry with extensive training and experience in the treatment of psychiatric disorders. She is dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive behavioral health care based on the highest standard and evidence-based practices. Dr. Walston has a personal passion for helping people and making them feel comfortable at work and in her daily life. Through working with her patients, Dr. Walston, a natural care-taker, hopes to give her patients the tools they need to overcome their challenges.

Dr. Walston earned her Bachelor of Science from Adelphi University, her Master of Science, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Marymount University, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner degree from George Mason University, where she graduated with honors. She completed her internships at the Department of Behavioral Health DBA, Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program, Washington, D.C.

When not caring for her patients, Dr. Walston loves spending time with her family and is an avid movie-goer.
