Hello!
My interest in medicine dates back to my childhood years. I earned my undergraduate degree in the biological sciences with the desire to continue my education in a medical profession, but that did not occur until later, after becoming a mom. I completed my medical training at the Yale University School of Medicine Physician Associate program and have now entered my 30th year of practice. Initially, my work was in internal medicine and family practice. Even during those years, my interest lay in the behavioral health care of patients. A focus on behavioral health services began 20 years ago, directing me into addiction medicine, where I provide care in inpatient and outpatient settings, supportive care for those in recovery, and work in community health, corrections, post-deployment evaluations, and psychiatric evaluations.
