Teresa C. Iribarren, MD

Originally from Florida, I completed my Bachelor degree at the University of Miami in Psychology and Theology. My Doctorate studies were completed at the Universidad de Navarra, School of Medicine. In Cook County Hospital, Chicago, I completed my post-graduate training in a dual program in Internal Medicine and Primary Care. I have over 25 year of experience in chronic disease management and primary care.

I am board certified in Internal Medicine,
Diplomat, of the American Board of Internal Medicine;
Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at FIU , Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine;
Member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians and a
member of the American College of Physicians.
My mission as a doctor is to empower my patient through education. I want to provide options and educations so that my patients can better care for their health in a team effort with me and my staff.
I am active in my community. For the past nine years I participate in medical mission to Dominican Republic as well as helping in a local free clinic. It is very rewarding to be able to help those in need.
