Graduate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City and is Board Certified in Addiction Medicine.First opened the doors of Long Island Detox in 2006 because a large vacuum existed on the south shore of Nassau County Long Island in the area of outpatient alcohol and drug detoxification programs. He believed Long Island detox could help fill that void and provide a valuable service to the community and those residents that needed help but not the type of help that involved confinement to a medical facility. Offering prompt and discreet outpatient detox from Opiates, Benzodiazepines and Alcohol addiction Dr. Hughes continues helping those who require his experienced and knowledgeable guidance on their road to recovery.
