Sumita Jain, MD

She Dr. Jain was born and raised in Canada, eh! She completed her undergraduate studies in Anatomy and Cell Biology at McGill University in Montreal and then pursued her medical degree at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St.Kitts. She subsequently returned to the Midwest where she completed her Family Medicine residency at Beaumont Hospital in Michigan, serving as Chief Resident in senior year of training. She is a board-certified Family Physician and a diplomat of the ABFM. She recently completed her MBA at the Kelley School of Business in IN. Dr. Jain is fiercely passionate about preventative medicine, womens health and the role of food and movement in optimizing health outcomes. She believes that the focus of modern medicine should be leveraging our healthcare resources to ensure we are thriving, rather than just staying alive. Outside of medicine she enjoys spending time with her family, skiing very cautiously, working out and endlessly filling online shopping carts with clothes she will probably never use, because she primarily wears scrubs.
