Suman Patel

Dr. Suman Patel, MD is a Family Medicine Specialist in Wayne, MI and has over 54 years of experience in the medical field and has over 25 years of experience in family medicine.

Dr. Patel trained in family medicine at Wayne State University family practice program from 1987 to 1990 and graduated with honors. He has been appointment as Staff Physician at Beaumont hospital Wayne and Garden City hospital since Aug 1992. He was a chief of the family medicine department of Beaumont Wayne hospital until 2014. He started a family practice residency training program for a physician in Beaumont Wayne hospital in 2008. He has also been a clinical assistant professor in the department of family medicine of Wayne state university from 2012 to 2018.

Dr. Patel is board certified by the American Board of Family medicine from 1990 to now and recertified until 2028. He was awarded AAFP American Academic of family physician of USA fellowship in 2009 because of his long community service.
