Steven M. Tilles, MD

I am a board certified Nephrologist, also certified in Internal Medicine. I have been in practice in San Jose since 1983. I practice about 50 primary care and 50 subspecialty work in Nephrology chronic kidney disease, hypertension, dialysis, kidney transplant patients. I am a UC Berkeley graduate with honors in general studies, Phi Beta Kappa; UCLA for medical school; internship and residency in Internal Medicine at UC Irvine and a fellowship in Nephrology at Albert Einstein in New York City. I was board certified in Geriatrics from 1994-2004 but chose not to recertify, instead continuing to focus on Nephrology and Internal Medicine. I am married for 35 years and have 4 children. I am currently the Chief of Staff at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose term 2012-2014. I am Medical Director of two Fresenius dialysis clinics: in Los Gatos and San Jose.
