Shervin Shadianloo

I am an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Zucker School of Medicine HofstraNorthwell and a double Board Certified Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist.
I have been trained and worked in different countries, originally Iran then Australia and finally in the U.S. I work in different capacities both clinically as medical director as well as board member and president of organizations providing and advocating mental health care for people. One of my focus in my career is in mental health of LGBTQ community.

I practice dynamic psychiatry, which is an integration of psychotherapeutic skills into different levels of treatment. Sometimes I am the primary therapist, sometimes I work with other therapists as part of a team.
