Dr. Ambardar graduated with Honors in Biological Sciences from Stanford University, received her M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine, did a postdoctoral fellowship at Columbia, and completed residency at St. Vincent's Hospital Manhattan. In 2011 and 2010, she was awarded the Patient's Choice Award and identified as one of "America's Most Compassionate Doctors".
