I am a licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner who is also trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and in Complementary and Alternative Medicine I have a Doctor of Science in Integrative Healthcare from Huntington University of Health Sciences in Knoxville TN. My training and experience began in Indiana with a BSN at Purdue University followed by a Masters in Counseling Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago Illinois I moved to Philadelphia and continued my education at the University of Pennsylvania where I received my Masters in Psychiatric Nursing while directing and managing Psychiatric and Addiction Units While in Philadelphia I underwent extensive training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and teach other practitioners worldwide I have been President of the National Association for Addiction Professionals NAADAC and on the board of directors for the International Association for Cognitive Psychotherapy I returned to Indiana and opened the Indiana Center for Cognitive Behavior Therapy in 2005.
