Sarah Kelly

Dr. Sarah Kelly, a Mayo Clinic-trained, board certified internal medicine physician, earned her medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine, where she was named the Most Outstanding Medical Student in Internal Medicine at graduation. She has been involved in numerous published clinical and basic science research projects and has recently begun authoring patient-centered medical articles and blogs. Although she has a strong interest in preventative medicine, primary care, and integrative medicine, Dr. Kelly has special expertise in the management and treatment of invisible disability, connective tissue disorders and, specifically, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, a disease which she is affected by.

After earning her medical degree in 2004, Dr. Kelly completed a three-year residency in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, wherethe best interest of the patient, is the only interest to be considered. Dr. William J. Mayo. She then went on to complete a four-year residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of New Mexico in 2012.

As a physician trained in two of the most fundamental medical specialities, Dr. Kelly is uniquely poised to tackle not only common diseases in adults and adolescents but also more complex or rare disorders. She enjoys taking a detail-oriented approach to the management of disease that allows for "outside the box" thinking and typically applies a holistic approach to traditional allopathic medicine. She is passionate and dedicated in her pursuit to always promote the the best interest of the patient regardless of the obstacles.

When not working in the clinic, Dr. Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children, Darby and Dean, and their many animals including service dog, Maverick. She is also an amateur photographer and bird watcher.
