As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, my approach to mental health care is holistic and patient-centered in nature. I respect the autonomy of my patients and promote aligned treatment goals and collaboration in practice. I work with children, adolescents and adults exhibiting a wide range of psychiatric symptoms and stressors. I use evidence-based treatments to improve self-efficacy and restore a sense of equilibrium.
I am described as genuine, practical, and direct with a healthy side of humor. I specialize in Anxiety Disorder, Depression, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder and Geriatric Mental Health. I conduct psychiatric evaluations, provide medication management and when appropriate provide solution-focused psychotherapeutic interventions based on CBT, DBT and MI principles.
