Samantha Azam, ARNP has practiced healthcare for over 25 years in Central Florida. She received her Graduate degree from South University, Savannah, GA, and her Bachelor's degree from St Petersburg College in St Petersburg, Florida. She received specialty training and certification in medication assisted-treatment MAT for both opioid and alcohol use and addiction disorders. She realized the extreme need for MAT services, due to the overwhelming addiction crisis in the United States. She spearheaded Ready4TheChange in Florida, which is a completely 100 percent telehealth medical drug treatment clinic for both opioid and alcohol addiction. All appointments are online or by phone, eliminating the need to come into an office for treatment. Ready4TheChange uses only FDA-approved medication like Suboxone and Buprenorphine to help with initial withdrawals and long-term maintenance once clean.
