Rebecca Cooper

Rebecca Cooper is a nationally certified physician assistant specializing in family medicine. She is a graduate of Kings College in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Completed Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Studies 2008, graduating cum laude, and Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies 2009. She is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants.
Initially began her medical career back in 1986 when she became certified as a CNA. Worked in several nursing homes and hospitals in this capacity over the course of 14 years. She knew from a very young age she wanted to take care of people and believed she was destined to be a nurse. After several setbacks and almost giving up her dream of medicine, God placed people in her path who helped her to realize he had other plans for her. Eventually applied and was accepted into the Physician Assistant program in her mid-30s.
She was born and raised in Endwell, New York where she lived until her early 20s. Did move to Delaware where she met and later married her husband in 1994. They have raised three wonderful children; two sons and a daughter who also live in North Carolina. Currently lives with her husband, 2 dogs, chinchillas, turtles, and koi.
Rebecca believes in providing compassionate evidenced based care to her patients. Goal is to involve and motivate patients to engage in healthy lifestyle changes to optimize their overall health.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, camping, crafts, shopping, and traveling up North to spend time with her family.
