The first time I visited a Naturopathic Doctor, my career was already established working in sales and marketing. My life changed in that first appointment. I was moved by the way the doctor listened, educated me in great detail, and gave me a broad treatment plan that didnt involve just another medication. This philosophy really spoke to me and I decided on the spot to change career paths. It was a long road getting here, but I truly believe I have found my calling.
I have a penchant for sports medicine and enjoy working with musculoskeletal injuries. I believe proper physical, mental, and spiritual movement and alignment are important to health, thus, I often weave in modalities such as craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation, gentle spinal and joint manipulation, mind-body medicine, nutrition, and homeopathy. Within the realm of primary care, I manage women's health including well woman exams, men's health including prostate exams, thyroid and sex hormone imbalances, digestive imbalances, cardiovascular, and rheumatological complaints, mental health, and adrenal and stress responses, among others.
My undergraduate degree is in foreign languages and business from Gonzaga University and I earned my Naturopathic Doctorate from Bastyr University. I also have history with massage therapy in which I specialized in sports and therapeutic massage. I am supported by my wonderful spouse, eccentric child, and two chaotic wiener dogs.
