Dr Pedro P Carballo received his Bachelor in Arts and Master in Science degrees from Northwestern University He received his Medical Doctors Degree with Honors from The University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago Illinois in 1981 He did his Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowship at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago

Dr Carballo is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and a Member of the American College of Physicians

He received The 2006 SafeRx Award in the early stages of electronic prescribing for his work in helping to develope and use electronic prescribing for Florida Medicaid in Florida

Dr Carballo is Board Certified in the fields of Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases




OFFICE HOURS Monday Thursday 700 AM to 300 PM The office opens at 630 AM for patients who work early and for fasting labs Fridays by prior arrangement since the Doctor does stress tests on Friday
