Dr. Paul Newman is board certified in both Family Medicine and Hospice Palliative Medicine. His areas of focus is palliative medicine. Dr. Newman has medical staff privileges at the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center, Howard University Hospital, BridgePoint Hospital Capital Hill and BridgePoint Hospital National Harbor. He maintains a private palliative medical practice throughout Virginia, Maryland and DC.

Dr. Newman earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Maryland Prince Georges Hospital and completed his fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at The George Washington University Hospital. He also earned dual masters degrees from Marymount University in Arlington, VA in Health Care Management and Business Administration
