Parinda Parikh, MD

Dr. Parinda Parikh is a board-certified Medical Doctor with a wide range of clinical and administrative expertise. Specializing in diagnosing and treating mood and anxiety disorders, psychotic spectrum disorders, as well as eating and neurodevelopmental disorders, she brings a wealth of experience from diverse clinical settings. Her approach to patient care is comprehensive and patient-centered, aiming to address the unique needs of each individual. With a solid commitment to education and community engagement, she is dedicated to contributing to efforts in tackling complex mental health issues. Dr. Parikhs educational journey began with an undergraduate degree from Barry University in Miami, Florida. She then pursued her MD at Ross University. Following that, she completed her general psychiatry residency training at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Subsequently, she undertook a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the esteemed New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Payne Whitney Westchester Division. To further refine her complex psychopharmacology skills, she served as the Chief of the Eating Disorder Unit and On-Call Coordinator at White Plains, holding dual appointments at Weill Cornell Medical College and New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
