Olurotimi Ashaye, MD

Dr. Tim Ashaye attended medical school at the University College hospital in Ibadan, Nigeria where he graduated in 1992. He moved to the Queen Elizabeth hospital in Birmingham, UK in 1994 where he started his residency in psychiatry. But then moved to the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York where he completed a four year residency program in psychiatry in 1998. Dr. Ashaye is board certified in psychiatry and is certified in Suboxone treatment for opioid addiction recovery. Dr. Ashaye later moved to Texas where he worked at the Texas State hospital in Wichita Falls. In 2002 the Ashaye family moved to Boise, ID where Dr. Ashaye started his private practice. In 2009 he co-founded MidValley Healthcare and its mental health Intensive Outpatient IOP program, the first of its kind in the Treasure Valley.
