Nosizwe Sellers

Nosizwe' A. Sellers, MD shares a passion for helping those become their best selves. Her own personal journey with maintaining balance, cultivating wellness and selfcare has prompting her revisiting Bariatric medicine.

Dr. Sellers held various positions within healthcare. She was a founding partner of Inpatient Medical Associates of Columbia IMAC. IMAC was one of the first hospitalist groups in Columbia, SC, and serviced four local hospitals. She was elected the Chief of Medicine at Baptist Medical Center. She was the youngest inductee, the first woman, and the first African American. Thinking leadership was not for her. She transitioned into rural internal medicine. After three years of practicing traditional internal medicine, emphasizing Bariatrics, she transitioned into the VA Healthcare system in 2007.
