Nima Sana, DPM

A longtime resident of the Valley of the Sun Dr. Nima Sana has expert knowledge in treating and resolving a wide spectrum of foot and ankle conditions Dr. Sana became found his calling with podiatric medicine based on his passion for resolving complicated and painful issues Dr. Sana understands that surgical intervention may be an option of last resort for some patient and therefore utilizes both nonsurgical and surgical procedures considering surgical intervention after conservative care.

Dr. Sana received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine receiving topnotch Podiatric medical training at affiliated teaching hospitals and clinics in Manhattan NY Thereafter he completed a three year Podiatric Surgical Residency at world renowned Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan NY During his residency Dr. Sana received extensive training in wound care diabetic limb salvage management of emergency trauma and complicated foot infections He was trained by more than twenty podiatric surgeons and foot and ankle orthopedists in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle conditions with extensive training in both conservative and surgical management

Dr. Sana has been involved with research conducted by the prestigious Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix AZ and his work has been published by publications such as BNI Quarterly.

Dr. Sana recently returned to Phoenix AZ where he grew up and attended Arizona State University and where he received two masters degrees Master in Public Health and Masters in Health Administration at AT Still University.

In his free time Dr. Sana enjoys cooking playing tennis exercise traveling and spending time with his family He is happy to be part of the Phoenix Community again working with his neighbors and friends.
