Niloufar Ilani, MD

Dr. Ilani is a board certified endocrinologist with a focus on diagnosis and treatment of hormonal abnormalities including but not limited to pituitary tumors, thyroid diseases and thyroid cancer, diabetes and metabolism and bone health. After board certification in Internal Medicine, she completed her fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in 2011 however, achieved board certification in endocrinology one year prior to her graduation time.
She is also trained at UCLA, David Geffen School of Medicine in Clinical and Translational Research. Dr. Ilanis research interests include pituitary disorders and male reproductive system, hypogonadism, male hormonal contraceptive and male infertility with several peer-reviewed publications.
She is a member of Professional Staff Association at Harbor-UCLA, Division of Endocrinology and continues her academic activity with instructing endocrine fellows in clinical management of patients with pituitary tumors and pituitary hormonal abnormalities and also thyroid diseases including thyroid nodules and thyroid cancers.
Dr. Ilani, is a member of Endocrine Society and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist.
