Nicole Kusmierz

Nicole Kusmierz APRN, MSN, FNP-C

I am a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, as well as adjunct lecturer and clinical instructor at UNCW College of Health Human Services. With over 15 years in the medical field, I have discovered a passion for staying up to date on current evidence based practices in nursing and medicine. I really enjoy research, and will never stop learning in my career. I have received advanced training in functional and regenerative medicine in my home state, Colorado, to study in-depth how the human body can heal itself with integrative therapies. My nursing career began as a RN in labor and delivery, where it was a priority to honor each patients personal experience in bringing their babies safely and lovingly into the world. I also worked in the operating room for plastic surgery, and then ultimately in integrative functional and regenerative medicine and aesthetics. As a life-long student myself, teaching is very important. This is why I am also an adjunct professor at UNCW College of Health and Human Services.
