Mubarik Khan, MD

Dr. Mubarik Khan finished his Medical Training at Marshall University in Huntington, WV. He started Advanced Internal Medicine Inc. in 2000.
Since then, he has been practicing Adult Primary Care. He has a special interest in providing personalized care to his patients, rather than following a recommendations-based practice. He tailors labs and tests based on a patients individual risk and preference. Similarly, treatments are designed specific to every patient that we serve. His practice is styled more as a small boutique, which is rare in the current medical environment of Northern Virginia. He believes in the motto, 1 Person at a Time but does not let this slow him down appointment-wise. Dr. Khan also has admitting privileges at INOVA Fairfax and Fair Oaks Hospital. Besides his primary practice located at the Pender Dr. office, he also has a secondary location closer to Fairfax Hospital. Besides practicing medicine, he is involved in the medical education of Medical Residents, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. He strives to provide care in a compassionate and empathic environment. Practice excellence is his core value. During his time off, he loves to travel and enjoys playing golf.
