Michael O'Brien

Dual board certified in Emergency Medicine Emergency Medical Services EMS, Dr. O'Brien specializes in operational emergency medicine. He is a subject matter expert in tactical medicine and aeromedical EMS. He deploys with Special Weapons Tactics SWAT teams to provide austere operational medicine field response. Dr. O'Brien is an active EMS Educator and holds a faculty appointment in the Jacobs School of Medicine Biomedical Sciences of the University at Buffalo. His research interests include trauma, prehospital cardiac arrest, and aeromedical retrievalaustere critical care.
