Michael Cook, DPM

As a native of Miami, Dr. Cook has been in private practice for over 25 years. He attended the University of Florida, and received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed his surgical residency training program in Flint Michigan at both Genesee at Wheelock Memorial Hospitals.

He is a board-certified surgeon and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a member of the American, Florida, and Miami-Dade County Podiatric medical associations.

An abbreviated list of his surgical specialties include: bunion, tailors bunion, hammertoe correction, joint replacement, forefoot reconstruction, trauma, as well as ingrown and soft tissue procedures. This practice also includes, but is not limited to, Sports Medicine, pediatric foot problems, as well as foot and ankle trauma.

He is on staff at South Miami and Baptist hospitals, Doctors Hospital and The Medical Arts Surgery Center at South Miami MASC. He is an attending surgeon for South Miami hospital's podiatric surgical residency program.
