Mehvesh Afrina

Dr. Mehvesh Afrina is a Board Certified Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist practicing psychiatry since 2008. She completed her residency training in Psychiatry at John Peter Smith JPS hospital in Fort Worth, TX and her fellowship in Child Adolescent Psychiatry at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Dr. Afrina has extensive experience in both Inpatient and Outpatient clinical settings. She is well respected and trusted among her peer physicians, staff members and patients. Her special interest includes women's issues, ADHD, behavioral issues, mood disorders including Bi-polar disorder, Depressive disorder Anxiety disorder.
