Matthew M. Preston, M.D.

Dr. Preston is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Medicine, where he received the Henry A. and Amelia T. Nasrallah Psychiatry Excellence Award and was elected to the Gold Humanism Honor Society, which recognizes compassion, service to others, and integrity as well as clinical excellence. He continued his training at Ohio State for residency, and joined Associates in Mental Health in 2011. He enjoys that as a member of a private practice he has the freedom to spend more time with patients, and works in collaboration with his patients to meet their goals. He provides both medication management services and individual psychotherapy, with a particular interest in insight-oriented therapy, where the patient seeks to better understand themselves, their issues, and how to improve their quality of life.
