Maryellen Stephens, PMHNP-BC

Maryellen Stephens, RN MS PMHNP-BC is a graduate of Utica College now Utica University where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biology 2003. She later went back to Utica College to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing 2003. After working as an RN for several years in Utica area with a largely underserved patient population, Maryellen recognized the vast need for mental health services in the area. She went on to obtain a Master's in Nursing Science and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner licensure from SUNY Upstate Medical University 2013. Over the past decade, Maryellen has worked to provide quality, evidenced-based, compassionate psychiatric services for children, teens and adults in Oneida, Herkimer and Madison Counties. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PMHNP-BC, she specializes in diagnosis and treatment of Mood Disorders, AnxietyPanic DisordersOCD, Complex PTSD, PTSD, ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder across the lifespan.
