Marisa Amelung

Marisa Amelung, MSN, PMHNP-BC, APN, is a master's prepared, board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner PMHNP-BC. She currently serves clients ages 18 at Peak Interactive Wellness in Denver, Colorado.

Marisa graduated from the University of Central Florida with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN and attended Frontier Nursing University where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing MSN. Prior to pursuing her passion in mental health, Marisa worked as a womens health nurse and is especially passionate about maternal mental health and reducing the stigma surrounding perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.

At Peak Interactive Wellness, Marisa offers treatment options for adults struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, attention disturbances, and trauma. Marisa works with clients to create an individualized treatment plan that focuses on the whole person and values client involvement and evidence-based practice. Treatment plans may incorporate medication management, lifestyle changes, and supportive therapies.

Marisa strives to create a safe, warm, non-judgmental space where clients can feel empowered to share their unique story.

Marisa enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family in her free time.
