Mario Porciello-Donnarumma

Mario Porciello DPM is a New Jersey native who was born and raised in the small town of Madison. He completed his undergraduate education at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ where he obtained his bachelors and masters degree in Biology and Life Science Education. He started off his career as a AP Biology teacher in Bergen County, NJ and then transitioned to full time medical student at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed an intensive, three year reconstructive foot and ankle surgery residency at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, where he served as chief resident during his final year. During his time as a resident he was able to operate alongside surgeons in plastic surgery, pediatric orthopedics, and vascular surgery.

Dr. Porciello is well-trained in all aspects of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, from wound care and sports medicine, to reconstructive surgery and trauma. He is well versed in ankle fracture management, achilles tendonitis and achilles ruptures, and bunion treatment including minimally invasive bunion surgery and Lapidus procedures. His training in education directly translates to his patient care where Dr. Porciello takes time to educate patients on their ailments, and how as a team we can treat their condition.

During his free time, Dr. Porciello enjoys running and reading as well as live theater and comedy shows. He is a huge New York Jets fan. Dr. Porciello and his wife decided to move to Orange County, CA to explore the west coast and enjoy the sun. He appreciates when patients give recommendations on fun activities in the area!
