Margarita McDonald, MD

Dr McDonald is board-certified in both Obesity and Family Medicine.

She is a member of the Obesity Medicine Association, American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.



She is a graduate of Ursinus College, Tufts University School of Medicine and the Abington Family Medicine Residency program.



She has been passionate about Obesity Medicine for over 9 years and felt that the current management programs available to patients were not focusing on the individual patient. As a result, she decided to open BMI to fill this gap.
