Dr Brooks graduated Summa cum laude from UC Irvine in 1984 Dr Brooks then received her medical degree from Harvard in 1988 Subsequently she completed her surgery and oncology residency and fellowship at Harvards Brigham and Womens Hospital affiliated with the Dana Farber Cancer Institute She then spent over 13 years at UCLA in the Breast Center and the Oncology Clinic before starting her own private practice Dr Brooks is married and has two children In her free time she enjoys volunteer work

Dr Brooks focus is in breast disease and skinsoft tissue cancersarcoma She is also boardcertified in General Surgery Hernia gallbladder stomach intestine colon anorectum spleenlymph nodes
