Born in Venezuela Relocated to Argentina at early age where I attended Medical school. Graduated in 1989 Specialized in Critical care and later trained in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery. In December of 2000 enrolled in a research fellowship and MastersPhD combined program at the University of Louisville, in the Plastic Surgery Research Laboratories and the Department of Physiology, acquiring the degree of MastersPhD in Physiology from the same university. The research focused mainly in Composite Tissue Allotransplantation. This research has been pivotal for the hand transplant program in the city of Louisville under the Christine M. Kleinert Institute the University of Louisville and JewishSaint Mary's Hospital. Underwent training in Hand and Microsurgery at the world renown center Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery. in Louisville Kentucky. Solely devoted to the practice of hand and upper extremity surgery since 2003. I have been in the Tampa Bay area since July of 2007, where I have continued to practice in the specialty, offering care to children and adults alike, practicing in local hospitals and surgery centers. In August of 2016, after having worked in a couple of groups in the area, I decided to open a practice where there is one main objective: to care for the patient. Hand Care Specialists of Wesley Chapel, LLC is a practice devoted to the care of hand and upper extremity ailments, treating each condition with the appropriate treatment. Children and adults are accepted in the practice. We strive on patient care with the best treatments aiming to the best outcome and restoration of function. There is always the possibility to see a new patient, to take care of whatever condition may be affecting them. Every patient is treated with compassion and respect. All questions are welcome.
