Ludmilar Mesidor

I am board certified in Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatry. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University where I graduated cum laude, with honors and distinction in major. I received my doctor of osteopathic medicine from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York, New York. I completed my psychiatric residency at New York Medical College, Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY whereby I was awarded Intern of the Year 2011-2012. My Child and Adolescent Fellowship was completed at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine of Brown University, where I was appointed and served as chief fellow, in my final year.
During my years of training I was appointed and served on the Graduate Medical Education Quality Council. During fellowship I created a curriculum and instructed an interview course for medical students, while serving as a liaison to the director child psychiatry medical clerkship. I became certified in evidence based parent training program Incredible Years, and co-led a parent training group. I also mentored medical students and presented grand grounds on several occasions.
I have worked in both group private practice, and on tele-health platforms post training. I am currently an independent contractor for Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES, performing evaluations, and consulting to several public schools in our region.
Assessing the social, familial, educational, and relational factors that all participate in how a patients symptoms present and collaboration with schools, family, and other clinicians is the hallmark of my treatment approach. I specialize in psychiatric evaluation, psychotropic medication management and collaboration with psychotherapeutic providers. I am delighted to offer in person care.
