Lisa is a Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner Speaker Educator and Writer Starting her career as a US Army Nurse for 5 years Lisa has worked in adult and college health with extensive experience in womens health GI disorders autoimmunity and nutrition
She received her Masters degree from UMass Graduate School of Nursing and Post Masters Certification in Holistic Health from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition
She has enjoyed being on the faculty at Umass Graduate School of Nursing Mass College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and MassBay Community College
In recent years she has worked in the OBGyn Primary care and Functional Medicine fields
Her deepest passion is GI health as a Certified Gluten Practitioner applying Functional Medicine for many chronic conditions completing AFMCP and a proud member of The Institute of Functional Medicine
