Integrative Medical Care and Integrative Medical Cannabis Management for Pediatric and Adult Patients. Dr Rankin has been incorporating essential oils and Hemp based CBD products into Treatment Plans for many years and has been managing Pediatric and Adult Medical Cannabis Patients since 2015 as the first Physician on the Treasure Coast certified to Manage Medical Cannabis Treatment Plans for her Pediatric and Adult Patients. She is well versed in the use of Medical Cannabis in all ages and across the entire spectrum of medical conditions and is able to provide customized Treatment Plans as well as products to meet the needs of individual patients which may include working with a patient in the office using their Dispensary Products and her extensive Essential Oil and Terpene Inventory to create an entirely product not found anywhere else. All Medical Cannabis Patients have the option of joining Dr Rankins Green Solution which is A Closed Facebook page for her Medical Cannabis patients.

Within Integrative Medicine she has a special interest in Neurodevelopmental Disorders and has a large patient base of patients on the Autism Spectrum. She has an 18 year old son with Autism and she has always managed all of his Biomedical and Therapeutic Interventions as she does for many of her patients with Autism.

Dr Rankin and a small group of moms of children with Autism began a Non-Profit and School when they realized how limited the resources were for providing the optimal Educational, Therapeutic and Social environment for their children and today that School still exists and is known as Treasure Coast Autism Project. She also developed a Tradmarked a home therapy system called Brain Mat Home Therapy System for her son Riley and her other patients with Autsim. The Brain Mat Home Therapy provides the equivalent of Physical and Occupational therapy including Sensory Integration protocols with the convenience of in home therapy at a fraction of the cost for children who are higher functioning. The Brain Mat Protocol is easily managed by a Parent or other Caregiver such as an older sibling and for Riley it was the only therapeutic intervention ever received.

Dr Rankin also has a special interest in Autoimmune Encephaliits including PANDAS PANS and her son Riley has PANDAS diagnosis. When appropriate and covered by insurance Dr Rankin is Able to order and manage IVIG as part of the Treatment plan and she works with Moleculara in using the Cunningham Panel as part of the AE workup. She is interested in other NeuroImmune disorders including Myalgic Encephalits and Fibromyalgia as well as Disorders of Immune dysregulation Disorders, Autoimmune and Rheumatologic disorders, Chronic active and reactivated Infectious disorders, Mold Exposure and Mast Cell Activation disorders. In most cases she acts as a Consultant but does provide primary care to many patients she has had the pleasure of serving for many years. Dr Rankin has been offering Telemedicine as an option for more than 15 years to her patients locally as well as those in other parts of the state, country and the world and she is very comfortable caring for complex patients remotely. She does work with a Pediatric Oncologist in Jupiter who sees Medical Cannabis patients and all patients have the option of being seen in the Stuart or Jupiter location.
