Lisa M. Hartman

Lisa M. Hartman, M.M.S., PA-C is a NCCPA Board Certified New York and New Jersey licensed physician assistant who specializes in both medical and cosmetic dermatology with a focus on laser surgery, injectables and aesthetics. She earned her masters degree in medical sciences along with her certification in physician assistant studies at Nova Southeastern Universitys School of Medicine. Prior to her Physician Assistant studies, she earned a dual Bachelors degree in neuroscience biology and chemistry from Baldwin-Wallace University while she worked as a nutrition counselor and a certified personal trainer. She then began her medical career in the emergency room at Mount Sinai Hospital while she worked as a clinical investigator conducting genetic based cancer research at Weill Cornell Medical College and Sloan-Kettering Cancer Institute.

Lisas artistic roots date back to her primary and secondary school years where she attended Cleveland School of the Arts and Interlochen Arts Academy as a visual artist and violinist. As a PA student she became very interested in womens health, wellness and aesthetics after completing multiple rotations at a center that combined all three. With a passion for the arts and patient care, Lisa merged these interests and began working collaboratively with NYCs top plastic surgeons to provide a wide variety of minimally invasive techniques that complement the work of the surgeons and assist those wanting a non-surgical approach to self-improvement.

She also treats a wide-range of dermatologic conditions and continues to practice in emergency medicine. Lisa empowers her patients through her educational approach in the decision making process and by placing the highest regard to safety and efficacy along the way.

Lisas expertise in facial and skin rejuvenation is highly sought after in her field where she has sat on numerous dermatology and medical device advisory boards and currently works as a speaker and clinical trainer for Allergan Facial Aesthetics, Galderma, Ulthera and the nations leading clinical aesthetic training program Aesthetic Advancements Institute, where she trains and certifies physicians and extenders in the field. She strives to instill in both her students and patients the ideal that keeping up with ones outward appearance is no longer just for the purpose of vanity, but for ones own health and mental wellbeing. We are living longer and longer these days, and we need to look good to feel good along the way. Her motto in life and in practice is Live well, be healthy, stay young!
