Linda Nguyen, MSN, MPH, PMHNP-BC

I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner PMHNP-BC specializing in treating those ages 16 and over who have health concerns such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, psychosis, grief, and stress or trauma related disorders. I earned my Bachelors and Masters of Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania. I completed my training at Veterans Affairs Health Administration Hospital Inpatient and Outpatient Behavioral Health Programs and Penn Medicine Outpatient Psychiatry.

Prior to starting my nursing career I earned my Bachelors and Masters in Public Health from California State University, Fullerton. I spent my career in Public Health managing and running clinical trials for Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, and utilizing monetary salience and decision making factors to improve health outcomes. It was my experience working with patients and seeing the impact of mental health on ones overall function which propelled me into my nursing career.

With my background in research, I love being able to integrate evidenced based treatment and best practices. Treatment will consists of medication management and supportive therapy components of CBT, behavioral modification, behavioral activation, challenging stuck points and identifying maladaptive coping behaviors
