Lenhanh Tran, MD

I wanted to become a physician and surgeon since I was 7 years of age. As a child, I wanted to help sick people to be healthy. I came to the United States as a refugee in 1980 with my family. I graduated from University of California, Davis, attended medical school at The George Washington University, joined the US Army and completed Otolaryngology residency training at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. I pursued fellowship training at Children's National Medical Center in pediatric otolaryngology to gain more experience in airway, sinus and ear disorder. My family and I made Hawaii our new home since 1999. I am honored to serve the people of Hawaii since 2003. My patients also taught me so much through their generosity, friendship and aloha.
