Leeellen Morrone, MD

Dr. Morrone's journey into medicine began in childhood. She credits her warm bedside manner, compassionate demeanor and keen diagnostic and listening skills to her personal experience growing up with a physically disabled and developmentally delayed sibling. She has spent over three decades working with physically, mentally and emotionally challenged children and young adults.

Dr. Morrone was raised in Brooklyn, New York. After graduating in 1977 as Valedictorian of her high school class, she pursued her undergraduate degree at Barnard College. Dr. Morrone graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 1981 with a BA in Biology. She completed her medical training at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons where she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. After graduating in 1985 at the top of her class, she pursued her ObGyn residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She completed her training in 1989 and entered into private practice wherein she has spent the last 25 years helping thousands of women achieve optimal wellness as they progress through each stage of womanhood.
