Kristina Harrington, MD

Kristina Harrington, MD, is founder and Medical Director of MidValley Healthcare. Dr. Harrington received her medical education at Loma Linda University in California. She went on to complete a three-year adult psychiatric residency program at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, where she subsequently completed a two-year fellowship in the subspecialty field of child adolescent psychiatry. Board Certified in the fields of Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatry, Dr. Harrington currently maintains hospital privileges at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center where she provides inpatient psychiatric services, and at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center where she provides inpatient psychiatric consultation services. Dr. Harrington is Medical Director of Northwest Psychiatric Group, a partnership of four psychiatrists who provide outpatient psychiatric services to Region 3, Health Welfare, and inpatient psychiatric services to Intermountain Hospital ---Treasure Valley's only private psychiatric hospital. She has also developed expertise in the treatment of narcotic dependence; she has become Suboxone certified, and is a board-certified addictionologist, and medical director of the inpatient detoxification and recovery unit at Intermountain Hospital.
