Khaja R. Ahmed, M.D.

Dr Khaja Ahmed is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine, fellowship in Nephrology and a post-doctoral fellowship in Immunology and served as Asst. professor of Medicine at UCLA in the Nephrology division at Harbor-UCLA Medical center for several years before entering private practice in 1997 in Torrance California. His practice involves a wide spectrum of in- patient and out-patient nephrology and medicine patients, for whom he brings to bear much expertise and enthusiasm. He has Active staff privileges at Torrance and Providence Medical Hospital centers and many of the South Bay dialysis centers. He also serves as a Medical Director of various dialysis centers. Dr. Ahmed is a long-time resident of the south Bay and in his spare time enjoys spending time with his family, reading, biking and many outdoor activities.
