Kelly Whitaker, Adult Nurse Practitioner

Hello, my name is Kelly Whitaker. I am the owner of The Wellness Spot located in Mascoutah, IL. I am a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitoner and have been practicing as an NP for over 14 years. I started my own business in 2015, Advanced Practice Nursing Services, and completely branched out on my own in 2018, and in 2020, I obtained my Full Practice Authority allowing me to practice independently. I have spent majority of my career as an NP in the Long-Term Care setting practicing General Practice along with Podiatric Care routine nail care. Prior to obtaining my Nurse Practitioner degree, I completed my BSN at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2002, and I worked at St. Louis University Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center, in Critical Care for over 10 years.
