Katrina Spradling, FNP-C

Katrina is the founder and owner of The Wellness and Prevention Center LLC primary family healthcare practice She is currently pursuing her EdD in organizational design and leadership at Grand Canyon University and holds a MSNL, MBA and post masters certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Grand Canyon University She attended Grand Canyon University and Glendale Community College as well as SUNY Alfred NY for her undergraduate nursing studies
Katrinas nursing background is varied and includes over 21 yrs of cardiovascular nursing management camp nursing critical care and consulting She is a former online and ground adjunct faculty member for the College of Nursing and College of Liberal Arts at Grand Canyon University. Katrina has served on several local and national professional organization boards of directors Her love for cardiology has led her to serve as a committee member of the Society of Chest Pain Centers Stroke and Special concerns Committees a journey that lead to standardizing care for stroke patients across the United States and providing a stroke center certification to eligible hospitals. Katrina is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as well as Sigma Theta Tau International Nu Upsilon Chapter
In 2009 Katrina realized the dream of opening The Wellness and Prevention Center LLC a multi tiered journey starting with consulting and healthcare education and in 2011 proudly opened the Family Practice component.
