Kartika Shetty

Dr. Shetty is an internal medicine physician with over 15 years of experience in clinical practice, academic leadership, and healthcare administration in Southern Nevada. Dr. Shetty serves as the Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency at Sunrise GME and as the Facility Medical Director for TeamHealth at MountainView Hospital, where he holds admitting privileges. He is the founder and medical director of Health Path Clinics, a primary care practice dedicated to addressing the healthcare needs of Southern Nevada.

Dr. Shettys clinical philosophy centers on treating the whole person, with a strong focus on preventive care and evidence-based treatments. Through his broad experiences at various hospitals in Las Vegas and in primary care clinics, he has developed a comprehensive understanding of patient care across diverse healthcare settings. By combining his extensive clinical expertise with a compassionate approach, Dr. Shetty effectively guides patients through our complex healthcare system.

In addition to his leadership roles, Dr. Shetty is an active peer reviewer for academic journals and a dedicated member of professional organizations, including the American College of Physicians and the Association of Program Directors in Internal Medicine. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Dr. Shetty enjoys spending time with his two children, exploring history, and engaging in discussions on public health.
