Justin Marone, DO

Dr. Justin Marone has been a dermatologist practicing in Owosso, Michigan for over 25 years and has enjoyed fostering longtime relationships with both his patients and staff. He enjoys welcoming new patients to the practice. The practice focuses on both medical and surgical dermatologic care. Dr. Marone is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He has a passion for sharing his knowledge with people pursing medical training, as well.
Dr. Marone grew up in Detroit, Michigan. He is a graduate of Wayne State University graduate majoring in Biology with high distinction. He was awarded an Air Force Scholarship the same year and attended Des Moines- University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences graduating in 1983. He then spent four years in the Air Force in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dr. Marone completed his dermatology training at Bay Dermatology Center, in Largo Florida.
Dr. Marone lives with his wife Judy. When out of the office his interests include boating, being outdoors, hiking, horseback riding and traveling far and near. Spending time with family. He enjoys art, music and cuisine from around the world. He has a passion for sports and is an avid sports enthusiast which he shares with his son. There is a love of dogs, shared by the whole family.
His son Nicholas, lives at home and the two especially enjoy: sports, 5-ks, fitness, and playing basketball together. Sporting events like Lugnuts baseball games make the summer evenings go to quickly. Nicholas works with the Michigan National Guard. Nicholas enjoys playing Special Olympics basketball, as well as church league basketball.
He has also raised three daughters whose lives took them across the country. His daughters have pursued different passions. This leads Christina to be a Supply Chain Computer Specialist and MBA student in Phoenix, Arizona. Jessica, a physician studying Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Chicago, Illinois. Alexandria is a software designer living in San Francisco. With the girls throughout the country there is always someone to visit.
