Jun Zhong

Jun Zhong, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist who specializes in the treatment of substance use disorders at Sanctuary Treatment Center. He offers his clinical expertise to patients in the communities of in PhoenixScottsdale, ChandlerGilbert, Arizona.

With extensive training in psychopharmacology as well as experience in community psychiatry, Dr. Zhong has a unique perspective on addiction psychiatry. He applies a personalized and compassionate approach to the treatment of alcohol and opioid use and co-occurring psychiatric disorders.

Dr. Zhong earned his medical degree from Southeast University Medical College in China. He came to the United States to complete his residency in general psychiatry at Saint Elizabeths Hospital in Washington, D.C. In addition to Phoenix and Washington, D.C., Dr. Zhong has spent time living in Chicago and Toronto.

Dr. Zhong is licensed to practice medicine in Arizona, Nevada, Washington, and District of Columbia. In his leisure time, he enjoys hiking, golfing, cooking, traveling and spending time with his wife and two children.
